Hindrance Minimal hindrance 1) Material Supply The material supply should be done in a way that provides the least inconvenience. Material supply during the night hours to prevent hindrance for road users, this will cause nuisance for the local residents. Material supply during the day, less nuisance for local residents, will cause more hindrance for road users, leading to traffic jams. Material supply should be concentrated to specific moments Provide extra supply routes, to prevent extra intensity on road traffic, will lead to more hindrance in those areas Supply trough the river, preventing extra intensity on road traffic, will need extra constructions for transfer from river to road, which will lead to higher cost Supply trough the air, preventing extra intensity on road traffic, will lead to high cost, not realistic 2) Buidling ways The manner in which will be build, should be done in a way that provides the least hindrance. Pile driving is the fastest way to build, which will cause less delay in the process, but provides a lot hindrance for the local residents Working at nights will cause less hindrance for road users 3) Use of railway and train During construction the railways and trains should suffer as little hindrance as possible. The railway bridge should be closed for a minimum amount of time, to prevent hindrance for the users of the trains, this could cause delay in the entire project. The railway bridge should only be closed outside of the train rush hours, to prevent hindrance for its users, this will cause difficulties in the construction planning. 4) Odor The production of odor should be as little as possible for the different stakeholders. The direction of the wind should be taken into account when constructing, to prevent the odor from blowing over Utrecht and surroundings. The building methods and materials that are used, should be sorted out at the slightest odor production, this could lead to high cost. 5) Sound The noise disturbance should be minimized for local residents A high and thick container wall will provide decreased sound hindrance for the local residents during construction, this will lead to higher cost. Using porous asphalt will lead to less sound production then standard asphalt
